Sewage Flood Clearance

sewage backupMore commonly than most would like, sewage backups in buildings occur and create an unhealthy environment that needs proper cleaning and clearance testing. Sewage floods can leave behind unwanted organisms such as E. coli, Salmonella and Shigella. If it is unknown for sure that sewage is present in flooded areas, testing can identify its presence or absence. Once cleanup procedures are considered complete, testing can be used to “clear” an area for re-construction and/or re-inhabitance.
